Nidhal Chatta Acting Studio

The method

My Acting On Camera method is based on taking every life experience to the fullest. I encourage our actors to turn the character into a real live person, somebody who really exists.

Students of all ages are shown how to make their performance best work for screen while developing their mental, emotional and physical range.

My method is a progressive system of structured improvisations for developing concentration and imagination, stimulating instinct and intuition, hence achieving the truth of the character.

A specific focus is given to the practice of Sussokan, a Japanese technique which concentrates on the breath and reduces anxiety and heart rate while enhancing self-confidence. Students are also taught to be in Mushotoku mode, no aim and no profit.

About Nidhal Chatta

NIDHAL is a former John Strasberg student. He developed his own hybrid organic on-camera acting curriculum at the confluence of Actors Studio Method and Sanford Meisner and Mark W. Travis Techniques.

NIDHAL focuses on enhancing and strenghtening the actor’s imagination, hence creating believable performances and making characters come alive on screen. He also trains actors to develop an understanding of the technical aspects of shooting a scene and how this actually affects performance.

He mainly works on his students acting skills hence sharpening their instrument, breath, body and voice, in order for them to express their emotions authentically and hence perform with truth and impact.

He finally helps his actors find useful information about castings and auditions for film, television and commercials.
